As you relish in the comfort of your own bed after so long, you suddenly remember that you have yet to undye your hair. You figure that now is as good a time as any to regain your natural charm, and slip out of bed.
Moonflower: "Ya want some help with that?"
You thank Moonflower for the offer, and tell her that you'll come and get her should you find yourself in need of extra hooves.
Moonflower: "Got'cha!"
Once down in the wet room, you stand in front of the mirror, and pour a few tentative drops of hair dye remover onto your mane. Large splashes of rose red appear from underneath melted shades of azure. Before long, you've meticulously used both flasks, and your original colour is fully restored.
You use 2 Hair Dye Removers.
With that done, you rinse the last of the solvent from your hair, and take a few minutes to dry yourself before heading back upstairs to rejoin the younger pair.
Moonflower: "Ooh, it's the classic Trailblazer look! I kinda missed it."
Apple Basket: "I almost forgot that's how it used to be."
You give yourself a once-over in the standing mirror, and pleased with the return of your warmer colours, you reclaim your place in bed.
With an exciting day waiting ahead, you decide to forgo any further activities, and instead get some rest. After sharing some good night hugs and kisses all around, you turn off the lamp, snuggle up warmly together, and quietly drift off to sleep.
That night, you dream of being lost, wandering what feels like an endless maze of underground tunnels. Following a faint glow in the darkness, you find yourself in a larger room, where half a dozen diamond dogs are hard at work, pushing carts to a smelter, and digging at the walls. You try to ask any of them for directions, but your words fall on deaf ears.
As you begin to feel helpless, an unmistakable presence appears at your side. Moonflower gestures to a worn saddlebag you didn't notice you had been carrying. You reach inside, and from it, retrieve the most beautiful gemstone you've ever seen. Suddenly, you are surrounded by very friendly diamond dogs, eagerly offering to do anything for that precious gemstone...

- I'm glad we were able to finally check going back to our natural mane color off our todo list, although it did take a round, and we had to forgo some worldbuilding that we would have gotten from the books. (I was pleasantly surprised that others players wanted to spend time reading; I almost thought I was alone.) We'll wake up nice and early, at least.
- Great news for Blazer that we no longer have that nasty "Insecurity" status effect (and maybe we have Moonflower to thank?). And on the topic of CHA, we gotta remember to wear our star hairpin as well; we've been forgetting to put it on.
- It would be interesting if a unicorn joined more permanently to give the party access to active magic, though things have been pretty magical without one. Crystal Charm has her shop to take care of, but adventuring means always meeting new ponies!
Yes, Apple Basket is going to leave eventually. Other characters have their own lives afterall. But we can still visit him and he can visit us. Maybe we have to go back to Amblerta at some point and can take a short detour to Greenhove Grove? So, I’m fairly optimistic that this hasn’t been the last time we’ve seen him.
Those sound like great opportunities, especially since we didn't get to see much of Greenhoof Grove last time since we were just passing by. And there was still that random encounter we had to pass up near Amblerta due to not being fully well (2021-07-05).
