With no more announcements to be made, the crowd slowly begins to disperse, some few remaining to revel in their princess's presence. Spirits are high this evening, and every bat pony of Starfalls Town seems eager to enjoy the moonlit night.

You and Apple Basket take this opportunity to walk up to Moonflower, and proudly congratulate her on winning the hearts of her clan.

Moonflower: "Thanks! But that was way easier than yesterday. I think the militia did most o' the work for me."

Luna: "From what I've heard, it was you who called upon them, was it not?"

Moonflower: "I guess so! Still, they didn't have to help us as much as they did. I hope we get to thank 'em properly someday!"

You nod, then playfully ask your bat pony friend if she intends to introduce you to her new friend.

Moonflower: "Oh yeah! This is Princess Luna! And Princess, these are my friends, Trailblazer and Apple Basket."

Apple Basket: "Uh, howdy!"

Luna: "The young heroes who brought the Yggdrasil tree back from the Mists, correct?"

You nod, and humbly explain that you only did what you had to for Moonflower's sake. Speaking of whom, you mention that should they need a volunteer to use her new powers on, your dreams are always open to visitors.

Moonflower: "Heeheehee! I dunno if those are the kinda dreams a princess should be visitin'!"

Luna: "We will consider it. In the short time since I have resumed my duty as Princess of the Night, I have witnessed far stranger things than young love."

Apple Basket: "H-heh... you, uh, sure must'a seen some uh... wild dreams, alright...!"

The Princess's all-too-knowing smile tells all. As Apple Basket begins sweating nervously, she continues.

Luna: "... Though I try to focus what precious little time I have on ponies who need guidance the most, a duty I am looking forward to sharing once again."

Apple Basket: "Uh, once again? You mean you weren't always the only one?"

Luna: "It is true. Moonflower, your people have taken on the name of bat ponies, yes?"

Moonflower: "Yuh uh!"

Luna: "There was once a time when bat ponies were known as night ponies. Each was possessed of a special kind of magic akin to the Oracles, and it was their collective duty to watch over everypony's dreams.

Alas, this all changed when I turned into Nightmare Moon, and night mares became synonymous with bad dreams. As servants of the stars, night ponies came to be feared, and their magic was no longer welcome in Equestria.

Until today, I was unaware that anypony with such magic still remained. Your awakening as Oracle is unlike anything bat ponies have seen in a millennium, and that is why I believe it is a sign of the night ponies' return."

Moonflower: "Oooh, watchin' over dreams sounds kinda fun! But like I said, I dunno how I did it."

Luna: "Shall we begin your first lesson, then? Unless your friends need you elsewhere, that is."
