After hopping off the sailboat, you all make your way across the grassy plains, soon to be faced by a giant wall of stone.

Taking a closer look, you find that the many protrusions jutting out of the cliff might make it possible to climb. Still, seeing no other way up, you first ask Moonflower to scout the area.

With a salute, the bat pony takes off, and begins to flutter along the edges of the upland. Alas, she returns a few minutes later with little more to offer than a shrug.

Moonflower: "Couldn't find anythin'! It doesn't look like ponies come down here."

You thank her for the effort nonetheless, and having seemingly no choice but to scale your way up, you pull out your trusty spool of rope, and hoof it over to your winged friend.

After safely tying one end of the rope around a tree above, Moonflower returns with the other, and offers it to you.

Apple Basket: "Uh, I dunno 'bout this... that cliff looks mighty tall an' dangerous to climb."

Moonflower: "Don't'cha worry, we're gonna help ya!"

You agree, and tell him that you'll go first. With the rope securely tied around yourself, you begin your ascent, the bat pony following close behind. It takes some doing, but you soon make it to the top without a hitch.

On Apple Basket's turn, you and Moonflower work together to pull him up across the more difficult gaps. Despite your help, the poor colt manages to lose his footing on a few occasions, each time sending him into a panic.

When the farmpony finally reaches the top, he drags himself away from the cliffside, huffing and puffing.

Apple Basket: "Thank Celestia... you gals... are here..."

You help the shaking colt back on his hooves, and once he catches his breath, you make your way over a short wooden fence, and onto a nearby dirt road.
