After considering your options, you find that you are currently ill-equipped to withstand the island's harsh weather, let alone face its unknown dangers. And so, you decide to err on the side of caution, and head for Norora.

Wrapped in cloaks and scarves, you step out of the boat's cabin and into the chilly wind to raise the anchor, and hoist the sail. With the young farmpony at the helm, you begin to follow the eastern coast, slowly but surely beating to windward.

You leave behind the golden woodlands of the Astoran region, and pass by grey stone fields and earthy mountains, from which steaming streams and rivers course into the sea. Then, you sail at a safe distance from the volcanic plateaus of Serpent's Bite, past which the shores turn to blue-green columnar cliffs.

Thankfully, over the course of the morning, the wind progressively dies down from constant blowing to the occasional gust, leaving the sky overcast, and the air, brisk.

As Apple Basket predicted, you arrive at the northernmost point of the island around noon, where you catch sight of the far silhouette of a tower, presumably from Norora's temple.

There, you decide to cast anchor, though you see no obvious path up to the town; between you and your destination stands a tall, steep cliff, in front of which you find rolling grass hills with red pine trees strewn about.

Moonflower: "Ooh, look! Are those mushrooms? Maybe they're edible, lemme go check!"

With her alchemy kit in mouth, Moonflower excitedly flies out into the nearby field, and soon returns with two legfuls of large, white-capped mushrooms.

Moonflower: "Heehee! They're all good! Maybe we can do somethin' with these for lunch."

At the mention of lunch, you suggest eating now that you still have the chance. Your party agrees, and working together, you manage to combine some bread, a slice of cheese, and a few freshly picked mushrooms into three tasty toasted sandwiches.

To top it off, you split the last of your cake into three light servings, and share it with your grateful friends for dessert.

You use 2 Slices of Apple & Chocolate Swirl Cake. You feel stuffed. Phew!

Now filled with energy and ready for adventure, you make your way back onto the deck, and look over at the large, foggy mountain to the south. If that is where you are headed, then the day won't be getting any warmer.
