Your party decides to join Dawn Break and Moondancer on their way to the buffet. As you follow the road westward, the town square's music fades to a distant rhythm complemented by ambient birdsongs.

Before long, you arrive at your first destination, and by the looks of it, a few dozen ponies have had the same idea: a scattered line meanders between several rows of joined tables, grabbing a sample or two here and there.

Moondancer: "Wow. Everything looks so good... where should we start?"

Taking a look around the buffet, you find yourself wondering the same thing. A wide array of flower sandwiches, veggie wraps and egg rolls fill a few of the tables, at the end of which one of the cooks is serving hot soup in thin bread bowls.

Ever a festival favourite, hayburgers, corn dogs and pizza slices are gone nearly as soon as they arrive, along with small bags of potato fries and onion rings.

Some equally popular apple pastries are kept on the far table, nearest to the orchard. Apple dumplings, fritters, turnovers and pies are served fresh out of the oven, with and without cinnamon, for the enjoyment of all.

More kinds of pies lie among other sugary treats, such as brownies, cakes, cookies, donuts, and muffins of all flavours. And finally, for the thirsty, juice boxes and smoothies await next to the water fountain.

Autumn Skies: "Well, if it isn't my three little heroes!"

Snapped out of your food contemplation by a familiar motherly voice, you turn to find Autumn Skies approaching your group. You all greet her together, and ask how she is doing.

Autumn Skies: "Much better, and I have you to thank for it, from what my husband tells me. That cure worked wonders!"

You tell the mare that she is welcome, and admit that you could not have done it without Zecora's help. Speaking of whom, you let Autumn Skies know that you saw the alchemist in town earlier, should she want to thank her in person as well.

Autumn Skies: "So I've heard! I hope she likes Equestrian cooking. Oh! And while you're here, why don't I cook you three a little something extra? Do you have any favourite foods?"
