You begin to retrace your steps westward, the sun ever ahead of you. The wind has since calmed down to a gentle breeze, leaving summer's end with pleasant fair skies.

Some more time passes until the landscape's barren tedium is eventually broken by the return of a few trees. At this rate, it seems that finding your way back through the labyrinthian cliffs is no shorter than the initial trek.

As you reach yet another escarpment, something in the distance catches your eye: a small rock shelter with a wooden counter in front of it, and a sign above which crudely reads: "Shop".

Curious, you and Moonflower decide to check it out. As you get closer, you become able to discern a shopkeeper hidden in the shade — another diamond dog, and by far the friendliest-looking one you've met thus far. With a wide smile and a welcoming gesture, it calls the two of you over.

Shopkeeper: "Ponies! Do you have gemsss? Trade your gems here!"
