You remark that rogue storm clouds wouldn't go unnoticed by weather ponies, and ask if regional guards are aware of these signs.

Historian: "I have faith that if a shard was found today, the news would reach the ears of the right ponies in good time. There is an old saying that goes, 'Preserving mistakes of the past prevents those of the future.'

But never you mind, young ones. It has been no less than five hundred years since the last record of the Paladins of Dawn, after all. Dare I say, there should be nothing left of the Philosopher's Stone in Equestria save rumours and tales."

Furia Storm: "What about outside of Equestria?"

Historian: "Ah, pardon me?"

Furia Storm: "Say a shard fell to the bottom of the ocean. Would those paladins have gone after it?"

Historian: "Now, that would explain where the first sirens came from, though I'm afraid the books did not mention it, nor does my knowledge reach far from the coast. Even at my age, there is still so much to learn!

Just this past decade, Equestria has made more allies than in the previous hundred years before it, and all these new creatures come to our little port town, rich with lore of an outside world most unknown to us."

Pegasus filly: "Oh! Like the hippogriffs? My friend told me they actually originated from Equestria!"

Historian: "And your friend is not far from the truth. You see, long before Equestria was founded, there were three pony tribes..."

As a new tale begins over the crackling fire, you turn to see Furia Storm staring off at the distant festivities, a thoughtful expression on her face.
