You and Moonflower attempt to comfort Apple Basket by offering him a bottle of water and some flowers to eat. He doesn't waste any time devouring the snack, and downing the bottle in one go.

Your Bottle of Water is now empty.

Apple Basket: "Phew. Oh, um... thanks. I really needed that."

As you tell the colt about the importance of bringing supplies on an adventure, you realize that you are currently running low on food. You don't actually say that part out loud, though!

In the meantime, Moonflower tries to take a closer look at his injuries.

Moonflower: "That's a lotta scratches! How's it feel?"

Apple Basket: "Uh... my right side hurts when I try to move. And it burns really bad when I'm out in the sun."

Moonflower: "Ooh, that's not good. But don't'cha worry! I've got somethin' that'll make ya feel better in no time!"

Moonflower pulls out her alchemy kit, and begins to crush a couple of leaves using her mortar and pestle. It takes a few minutes until she obtains a medicinal paste, which she then applies to Apple Basket's wounds.

Apple Basket: "Whoa, you weren't kidding! I'm starting to feel better already. Are you some sort of... bat doctor?"

Moonflower: "Heehee! Let's just say I learned a lot about plants by goin' out to explore the forest near my village."

Apple Basket: "I guess that makes sense... I think I can move now."

You help Apple Basket up, and get ready to escort him out of the small cave, when a giant spider suddenly appears at the entrance! It climbs down from the ceiling in the blink of an eye, blocking your way out, and emits a loud hissing noise.

Apple Basket: "W-watch out‼ It's a spider-bear!"
