You use Lens of Honesty... but nothing happens.

Crystal Charm: "What, is this too good to be true? Heheh..."

You tell Crystal Charm that you were just making sure she wasn't a changeling.

Crystal Charm: "A changeling, huh? I've never seen one of those around here, but I guess the lens of honesty would be able to see through their disguise.

That said, didn't I just eat some apple pie? I bet you'd make a much better meal for a changeling. Not that I'd mind dessert... Heheheh! I'm just kidding. Maybe. Thank you for the breakfast, by the way."

You tell her that she is welcome. Having mentioned that she crafts what she sells, you ask her if she can tell you about enchanting.

Crystal Charm: "Sure! Enchanting is the art of infusing magic into objects. It can be tricky, because everything reacts differently to an enchantment.

On one hoof, enchanting a sword with a ruby would give it a fire blade, which is good, but on the other hoof, enchanting armour with the same gem would make it far too hot for a pony to wear."

You ask if enchantments can be combined.

Crystal Charm: "It can be done, but the reaction often is too violent, and the item breaks under pressure."

You ask if enchanted items sell well in Hoofington.

Crystal Charm: "They do, actually! Because the town is so close to the Everfree Forest, there's always a demand for new equipment. I also offer to enchant anything ponies bring to me for a small fee."

You say that you'll keep that in mind, and ask Crystal Charm what she does when she isn't crafting or running her shop.

Crystal Charm: "I'm usually digging for gems in the forest, or just looking around for new materials. Speaking of which, I know a nice relaxing spot not too far away from here, but most ponies are afraid to go there at night. They're missing out, though.

Hey, I could show you later, if you want!"
